About the presentations:

All presentations will be given by student groups of 1-3 persons. The duration of a presentation should be approx. 20-30 minutes. You are welcome to suggest to me which presentation(s) you would prefer to participate in. However, I reserve the right to move you to another presentation (or another day), since all presentation topics will need to be covered. I will contact you before 15 August with a final list of which persons will be making which presentations.

Please note that the three presentations to be held on 12 September must be planned before the course starts on 11 September. Since you will thus have to plan the presentations without any help from the lectures, I have planned three measures that will assist you in your work:

(a) An online course forum (HOT-Tech) has been opened on the closed course website. All participants are requested to start using this forum as soon as you receive your username and password from me. Use the forum to discuss course texts and ideas, or to ask questions.
(b) You are also invited to contact me with any questions you may have. Please note that you must contact me via the HOT_Tech forum - not via direct email.
(c) I will provide a number of guiding questions for each of the 7 student presentations. These questions will be published to the HOT_Tech forum where they will serve as topics for discussion.

In week 40, there will be two student presentations based on the texts in Part 1 of this week's reading list, and two presentations based on the texts in Part 2. No less than 5 texts from the Part on which the presentation is based should be explicitly referenced in each student presentation.
